The Post Graduate Department of Commerce organized the flagship program, Sahrdaya Skill Boutique, for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The resource person was Dr. Justin Paul.. He was a former faculty member at the University of Washington and holds dual appointments as a Professor of MBA and as the Director/Chair of the Research and PhD program at the University of Puerto Rico, USA. He is the Chief Editor of the International Journal of Consumer Studies, a globally A-ranked academic journal with an impact factor of 7.1. He is also ranked among the world’s top 92 highly cited professors in business and economics by Web of Science. He holds the title of Distinguished Professor at three reputable universities. The department has developed various programs and activities aimed at enhancing the skill set of our students.
The program started with a prayer, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Karuna, the Head of the PG Department of Commerce at SCAS. Principal Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken delivered the presidential address. Dr.Justin Paul inaugurated the session. Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken, Principal of SCAS, along with Prof. V.J Thomas, Dean of the PG Department of Commerce, and other faculty members of the department, attended the program. All final year batches of B. Com were also present.
