Cyber Security awareness Campaign
The IT Club of SCAS successfully organized a Cyber Security Awareness Campaign on 6th December 2024, aimed at educating OMC staff members about the significance of cyber security and equipping them with the knowledge to safeguard themselves against digital threats. The event emphasized best practices, current trends, and practical solutions to combat cybersecurity challenges.The campaign began with an opening address by Mr.Renjith HOD of computer science department.Principal Dr,Joy K.L. inaugurated the function by giving the Leaf-letter to the Ms Mani, the OMC staff.Finance Officer, Rev. around 15 OMC staff members attended the campaign, expressing enthusiasm and satisfaction with the sessions.The Students demonstrated a clear understanding of the discussed topics during a quick survey conducted at the end of the event.Suggestions for future events included more advanced training and sessions focusing on specific tools for cybersecurity.
