General Facilities

We take special interest in bringing up and nurturing the unrecognized talents of each individual student of the College. Literary, art, knowledge-based cultural competitions are conducted on a regular basis and presentations to enhance their academic competence are as well of significant consideration.

College canteen is one of the most happening place in the campus. The college providing canteen facilities to the students as well as teaching and non teaching staff on the college. It is capable of accommodate 306 persons at a time. The canteen is located inside the College. The hostelers provided meals by assuring food safety and quality. Refreshments are available at the college canteen at affordable rates.

Sahrdaya College of Advanced studies provides a well-equipped fitness center to our students and staff. The Fitness Center is a health, recreational, and social facility geared towards exercise, sports, and other physical activities. Cultivating a healthy relationship with fitness for personal wellbeing is vital for every individual and more so with college students.  Not only will it help students to improve their physical and mental wellbeing but also the healthy habits formed in college will stay within them throughout their lives.

The College provides residential facilities for girls and boys.The hostel provides facilities that aid the students to live and grow in a congenial atmosphere. The warden and the supporting staff are well trained and experienced in dealing with and meeting the needs of the students of this age group; dedicated and caring which ensures that the children remain happy and stress-free during their course of study.

The College store provides university prescribed books for student of all courses at concessional rates. The students can avail of this facility at the start of each semester. The store provides basic stationary to the students. It also provides photostat , printing and record binding facility

Apart from the auditorium the college also have a seminar hall that can accommodate about 300 people. It is equipped with good audio visual facilities, LCD & OHP projectors. Seminars, workshops, association inaugurations and training sessions to enhance the quality of education for a small audience is held here.

Organizing study circles is not a novel concept, neverthless, when it comes to an educational institution, making learning enjoyable is of prime importance. Factors such as moving out of the closed walls of the classroom for learning , often supervised by a leader or a facilitator, cordial discussions leading to healthy relationships and concept building are vital parts of a student ‘s character formation and intellectual development. Keeping in mind the highest level of satisfaction in learning for the student and the faculty , the college has provided adequately furnished and lighted study huts inside the lush green and scenic campus amongst the shady trees and pools.

The students are provided with transportation facility from major locations around the college like Thrissur, Irinjalakkuda, Chalakkudy, Mala, Kodungallur, Angamali, etc. The quick availability of concession card for KSRTC & Private buses. Our Institution also provides 24-hours South Indian Bank ATM facility for students and staff.South Indian Bank Bank has been operating 24-hour ATM facility at college premises. Hence, money transactions such as transfer, withdrawal and saving are carried out with ease. Hostel students are able to use the ATM at any time.
