December 2022 was a bustling month for Sahrdayans. The NAAC peer team visit preparations were in full swing, with dedicated efforts to ensure everything was in order. The campus was abundant with carnations, lights, pavilions, and many more attractions. We prepared a well crafted cultural programme showcasing the art and heritage of India. It was a truly memorable event, and I was part of the NAAC Drama team.
On the 14th of December, the 4 of us in the drama team received the golden opportunity to visit Chetana Studio in Thrissur for sound recording. The day is still clear in my mind – the dialogues, the bloopers, the laughs, the finale song – it was a perfect day. The efforts totally paid off during the event on the 21st of December. We presented a Gurukulam Set with a Guru and 3 devoted Shishyas. We presented the ‘four seasons’ with the aid of the special effects for rain and snow. The set was beautifully designed along with a background score that matched its aesthetics. The event went remarkably well.
Though it was my first experience in acting, it was an exceptional one. The whole event remains crystal clear in my mind. Though it happened a year ago, we, the NAAC Drama team, still remain in touch, sharing glimpses of memories from that day every now and then.
