One day seminar on Social Work Practice with Children in Difficult circumstances
Department of Social Work has organised one day seminar on Social Work Practice with Children in Difficult circumstances on 7th August 2024 as a part of MSW Induction Programme 2024. The Resource person for the programme was Ms. Parvathy, Programme Caseworker, KAVAL Project, Thrissur. The programme was intended to provide the awareness on need and scope of Social Work Practice with children in conflict with law as well as children in need of care and protection. Third semester and First semester students participated in the seminar. The programme was presided by Albia Mary George, Course Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work and Ms. Amalendu V R felicitated and shared her thoughts on social work practice with children. Students had provided feedback and evaluation of the seminar and around 30 students participated in the seminar.
