The programme begin with college choir and  Asst.Prof .Savio Fernandez Head of the Department welcomed the chief Guest Dr.Justin Paul (professor of University Puerto Rico USA).Asso.Exec.Director Rev.Fr.Davis Cenginiyaden ,Principal Dr.P.O.Jenson, Vice Principal Dr. Rani M.j ,Finance officer Rev.Fr.Shaju Chirayath were attended the meeting. Programme Coordinator Asst.Prof.Seena Alappatt presented the annual report of 2017-18.There was lighting of the lamp ceremony which continuedby inaugural addresss by Dr.Justin Paul. Later there was outh taking  ceremony by Mr.Edwin Shaju secretary of SMART ,Mr.Mthew John joint secretary and Miss.Anjana Joy Treasurer of SMART/They took oath to be active and responsible members of council in the active presence of principal,chief guest and students. Association Secretary Mr. Edwin Shaju (III BBA) proposes the vote of thanks .After which Dr.Justin Paul gave a keynote address on “challenges and opportunities for managers and entrepreneurs in changing business landscape”.Exec.Director Rev.Fr.Dais Chenginiyaden  honored the chief Guest.After this we continued the programme with freshers day events. All students of department of Management studies participated in and made the event a successful one. Formal function comes to an end @ 12.45pm with the national anthem by the college choir.
