Department of computer science conducted an Alumni interaction series in collaboration with IQAC. The first meeting was scheduled on 28th march 2022 Monday at 7 pm via the Google Meet platform. The programme started at 7 pm with prayer. HOD Ms. Sabitha P.C delivered the welcome address. The event was inaugurated by the Vice Principal Dr. Rani M J and the Vice Principal Dr. K L Joy delivered the felicitation speech. The alumni who played the pivotal role in the association was Mr.Jeeson T R, a recruitment associate at Byju’s, as well as an alumni of the 2016 – 19 BCA batch. The main participants of the session include all students from both the BCA , BSc CS and BSc IT classes. The main topics discussed were about the different college placement and employment opportunities that were available for the students after graduation. Many common myths about the different job and degrees were also discussed during the session. A Q&A session was also done where the students interacted with the alumni and asked questions regarding the employment opportunities as well as several doubts regarding the job sector. The key questions were asked by the following students: Anagha S. – BSc CS II year, Rohith P. S. – B Sc CS II year, Krishnakamal M – BSc CS III year, Alan Shaju – BSc CS II year The meeting was concluded with a vote of thanks by the students’ representative Krishnakamal M. The event concluded at 8:00 pm.
