Department of Social Work and National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies organised a Blood Donation Camp in Association with Manava Care Kendra Foundation, Kerala Association of Professional Social Workers (KAPS), IMA Blood Bank, Thrissur as a Part of World Blood Donor Day on 23rd June 2022. The slogan for this year is “Donating blood is an act of solidarity. Join the effort and save lives” to draw attention to the roles that voluntary blood donations play in saving lives and enhancing solidarity within communities
The Programme was inaugurated by IMA Blood Bank Medical Officer, Dr. N G Radhakrishnan and the function was presided over by Fr. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Executive Director, SCAS. Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken, Principal of SCAS has given message on the occasion. Mr. Samuel C J, CEO, Mr. Manoharan T K, Senior Director of MCK Foundation, Mr Jijo Kurivila, President of KAPS, Thrissur and Vice Principal Dr. K L Joy , Assistant Professor Albia Mary George, NSS Programme Officer Akhil Anto Spoke during the function. Around 100 students participated in the camp.
