A two day workshop on “Fintech-Future for commerce”

The department organised a two day workshop on Fintech Futures for Commerce for the post graduate students of Commerce and Management stream from various colleges in and around Thrissur district along with the post graduate Commerce students of Sahrdaya. Day one of the workshop necessitates domains of storing,processing, evaluating and visualising commercial data. Day two covered automating Data Analytics with Robotic Process Automation. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Sarin C.R, M.Tech, MBA, Ph.D, Faculty, Miles Education,Cochin. The programme started with prayer by college choir followed by welcomeaddress by Dr. Karuna.K, Co-ordinator, Professional Programmes. Dr, Mathew Paul Ukken, Principal, SCAS delivered the Presidential Address. Dr. Fr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Executive Director, SCAS inaugurated the workshop by lighting the lamp and delivered the inaugural address. Prof. V.J Thomas, HoD, Dept. of Commerce honoured the Chief Guest with a memento and Dr. Hanna Joseph,Assistant Professor, Dept. Commerce, SCAS proposed the Vote of Thanks. The technical session started with introduction of the Chief Guest by Mr. Emmanuel Joseph, student representative and the technical session was handled by Dr. Sarin C.R.The session was conducted at computer lab with live hands on training. Participationcertificates were distributed to candidates after completion of the workshop.
