To enlighten the students about the need and importance of youth in environment sustenance Nature club in association with IQAC conducted a talk on the role of youth in environment sustenance at seminar hall on 14/08/2023 at 1.30 pm. The program started with a silent prayer. Welcome speech was extended by Dr. Jeshma. P, Convenor of nature club. Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, the Exe. Director SCAS presided over the function. Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken, Principal SCAS pointed out the importance of youth sustainable development in his message. The chief guest was Ms. Aiswarya V. Jayan, Beat Forest Officer, Vazhachal division, Kerala Forest and Wild Life Department, inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. She enlightened the students about importance of youth in protecting environment, how human activities affecting nature and its consequence. The session was highly inspiring and motivating. The felicitation was done by Vice Principal Dr. Joy K L, and Dr. Rani M J. Student Coordinator Nanthitha (2rd year B.Sc. Psychology) proposed the vote of thanks.
