18th January to 18th February is celebrated as National Traffic Awareness Month. So in accordance with that we organized a traffic awareness class trained by Xavier Pallipadan (retired sub inspector of Kerala Police) under the leadership of our NSS coordinators Mr.Akhil anto and Ms.Sindhu Thomas on 18th February 2021. The programme started at 1:30 pm with a prayer by NSS choir , NSS volunteer. Anna Grace, NSS volunteer invited everyone to the auspicious occasion. The class was mainly about traffic rules, road safety and traffic senses. The awareness class included more videos and was extremely informative. Sir reminded us that life itself is a journey. He also added that ‘Driving is an art’.He shared some of his life experience as a police officer. Sir made us aware about the fines and penalities for violating the traffic rules and also about the use of helmets and seat belts while driving two wheelers and four wheelers respectively. There was an effective interactive session for doubt clearance. The session was concluded at 2:30pm by a vote of thanks expressed by Rupasri. M, NSS volunteer.
