Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara, launched an innovative initiative to provide each student with a copy of The Hindu newspaper, fostering a culture of reading and awareness. The program was inaugurated by Mr. Sridhar Aranala, Vice President of the Hindu Group of Publications, who issued a newspaper to one male and one female student.
The event was attended by Executive Director Dr. Fr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Principal Dr. Joy K.L., Vice Principal Dr. Karuna K., Deans, faculty members, librarian Dr. Shaji Bhaskaran, non-faculty members, and the student community. Mr. Aranala emphasized the importance of staying informed, while Dr. Chenginiyadan highlighted the college’s commitment to holistic education. The initiative aims to provide quality information daily, encouraging students to stay updated with news and develop critical analysis skills. This program is expected to significantly enhance the students’ learning experience.
