The Postgraduate department of Psychology of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies Kodakara organized a workshop on the topic Mindfulness along with association inauguration of the psychology department on 22 August 2023 at 9.30 am at the seminar hall. The resource person was Dr. Mahesh M.M , Assistant Professor, Research Department of psychology, Sri C Achutha Menon Government College Kuttanellur, Thrissur. Students of psychology department participated in the workshop. The purpose of the workshop was to introduce the students practical application of mindfulness in psychotherapy for various psychological issues.
It was an interactive and enriching session that developed a feeling of positivity among the students. Dr. Mahesh discussed and talked about various aspects of mindfulness and its impact on our day to day life. The session ended at 12.00 pm with a vote of thanks by Amrutha Nair, Association Secretary , student of III B.Sc. Psychology.
