The “Bibliochor Spectrum – Talk Series,” organized by the central library readers’ club ‘Bibliochor,’ was inaugurated today at the central auditorium of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies. Mr. Sridhar Aranala, Vice President of the Hindu Group of Publications, inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp and delivering the inaugural address.

The ceremony began with a prayer led by Ms. Reya and Ms. Greeshma, followed by a welcome address from Dr. Shaji Bhaskaran, Librarian. Dr. Fr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Executive Director, delivered the Presidential Address and officially released the ‘Bibliochor’ logo. Messages were conveyed by Principal Dr. Joy K.L., Finance Officer Rev. Fr. Anto Vattoly, and Vice Principal Dr. Karuna K.

Prof. V. J. Thomas, Dean of Commerce and Management, felicitated the attendees, emphasizing the series’ significance. Dr. Fr. Devis Chenginiyadan honored Mr. Sridhar Aranala for his contribution. Dr. Hanna Joseph, Head of the Department of Commerce, expressed gratitude in the vote of thanks.

The technical session featured an introduction of Mr. Aranala by Mr. Savio Fernandez, Head of the Department of Management Studies, followed by Mr. Aranala’s talk on “Learning and Industrial Readiness,” highlighting the role of reading in enhancing career and management skills. The event concluded with the National Anthem, marking a successful start to the Bibliochor Spectrum – Talk Series.
