Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies witnessed another glittering moment in its vibrant history, when Mr. P G Varghese, AGM, and Regional Head, SIB Ltd, switched on the lights installed in SCAS central auditorium (a SIB CSR initiative), in a solemn function organized here on 18th February 2020, Tuesday, at 9.00 a.m. The SCAS family gathered at the central auditorium jubilantly welcomed the flood of light, in presence of Mr. Rakesh Kumar K K (Senior Manager, SIB, Kodakara Branch) and Mr. Xavie C O(Assistant Manager, SIB, Kodakara Branch). Dr.P.O. Jenson (Principal, SCAS) welcomed the gathering.
Mr. Derrick S Mathew (II B.Com Finance CS), Mr. Alwin Joseph (II BBA), and Mr. Tinto Thomas (I B.Com CA), title winners of Western Solo-Percussion, at the National Level Inter-university Arts Festival were honoured in the function, in presence of their parents. The AGM donned them the traditional Kerala shawl and handed over the merit certificates. Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan (Executive Director, SCAS) administered the medal ceremony and Rev. Fr. Shaju Chirayath (Finance Officer, SCAS) handed over the cash prize to the award winners. Asst. Prof. Greeni K I (Co-ordinator – D Zone individual on-stage competitions) introduced the winners and Mr. Davis Mampilly (President, PTWA, SCAS) offered felicitations. Dr. Rani M J (Vice Principal, SCAS) proposed the vote of thanks.
