The college arts fest, ELDORADO 2019-20 saw a colourful beginning with the inaugural ceremony on 30th August 2019 at 9.15 am. The programme began with a prayerful invocation followed by Prof.V.G Thampy Convenor, SAPTHASADASSU welcoming the guests and the gathering. Rev. Dr Devis Chenginiyadan, Executive Director marked the inauguration of the two-day event by lighting the lamp, followed by the inaugural address. The occasion was felicitated by Dr P.O Jenson, Principal and Dr Rani MJ, Vice Principal. The gathering witnessed a flamboyant march by the house captains and vice-captains of the four houses- Sapphire, Diamond, Ruby, and Emerald. The Oath was administered by Rev.Fr. Sebin Edattukaran, Director of Sports Academy. The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms Shiji V K, Convenor, ELDORADO, wishing everyone a healthy competition ahead. The various events under off stage individual, on stage individual and onstage group categories, were held on different stages, Chilanga, Dwani, Kavyam, and Bharatham. Individual off-stage events had already been conducted on the preceding days. Adding colour to the event, the Sahrdaya College band put up a splendid rendition which was enjoyed by everyone. The prize distribution for all the events was held on 27th September 2019.
