EXAMINATIONS
Board of Examinations of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies (SCAS), Kodakara is organising and conducting various examinations from time to time. Examinations can be broadly classified into two categories like Internal examinations and Calicut University Examinations. All these examinations are conducted under the supervision of team of members including teaching and non teaching staff of the college. Chief Superintendent of Examinations is Principal of the institution. The office of examinations is committed to ensure efficient and effective functioning of its office for the benefit of the entire student community and entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing all aspects of the examination process, ensuring it is conducted smoothly, fairly, and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and Scheduling:
- Formulating the academic calendar in coordination with department heads.
- Scheduling internal and external examinations.
- Coordination and Supervision:
- Ensuring proper conduct of examinations in accordance with the guidelines.
- Coordinating with invigilators and other staff to facilitate a conducive examination environment.
- Supervising the distribution and collection of examination materials.
- Evaluation and Result Processing:
- Overseeing the evaluation process to maintain impartiality and accuracy.
- Timely processing and publication of results.
- Addressing grievances related to examination and results in a transparent manner.
- Security and Confidentiality:
- Ensuring the confidentiality and security of examination papers and related materials.
- Implementing measures to prevent and address malpractices during examinations.
