Internal Complaints Committee of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies organized a Webinar on “Law and Justice” on 9th September 2021 at 2.30pm-4 pm for the PG Students and the entire staff of the college.  Advocate Seby J Pullely, Kerala High Court, with 25 years of experience, was invited to talk on the subject. He shared detailed information of the individual rights and also the special rights that our Constitution offers to women, especially when faced with any discrimination and sexual harassment at workplace.  Advocate Seby spoke on the alarming rise of the number of cases that are related to sexual harassment. Women are not spared even on the social media. He stated that it is high time that the women open up about the struggle that they go through.  He encouraged the participants to have courage and boldness to approach the law, when it is required.  The talk was very informative.

College Executive Director Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan inaugurated the webinar. In his inaugural talks, the Executive Director  shared his valuable thoughts on the importance of treating the women with high respect, not just in workplaces, but everywhere in the society.  Principal Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken appreciated the ICC members for organizing the webinar. Student representatives Ms. Rupasri M, Department of Psychology and Ms. Haneena CT, Department of English expressed welcome note and vote of thanks respectively. The whole event was beautifully compered by Ms. Aesha Rafeeque, Department of Geology.  With the commendable support of the technical team of the college, ICC could conduct the webinar smoothly.
