LUFTETAR 2K19 – SAHRDAYA FEST
The three-day event started with an inaugural session at 9.30 am on 18.12.2019 at the College Central Auditorium. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Arun Babu, MD- Operations, Deloitte Africa in presence of the Executive Director, Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Principal- Dr. P.O.Jenson, Vice Principal-Dr. Rani M J, Finance Officer Fr. Shaju Chirayath, Convenor of Luftetar 2K19 Dr. Karuna K Nair and the College Students union Vice-Chairperson Ms. Sona Shajan.
The First day of the event was marked by Euphoria- the South India Management fest which was jointly organized by the Departments of Commerce, Management and Professional education, and The Lang – Litt fest, which was organized by the Departments of English and Malayalam. The second day of the event saw the fest organized by the various science departments like the Science fest by Physics and Chemistry departments, the Maths fest, the Psychology fest, and Decipher-the IT fest organized by the Department of Computer Science and IT. The Sports Fest organized by the Department of Physical education was notable for overwhelming participation from around 10 colleges affiliated with Calicut University.
As in the previous years, this year also the three-day-long annual event culminated with a cultural program. An extravaganza by the renowned music band Pragathi held on 20th December 2019, lifted the vibrant spirits to the zenith of euphoria. Adding another memorable page to the glorious history of Sahrdaya.
