Western & Eastern Language Department

Hindi along with the foreign languages, French and German, as a separate department, named  Western and Eastern Language Department (WELD) was formed in 2016 with an aim to promote learning of these languages and are taught as additional languages. Knowledge of Hindi is very desirable as it is the most commonly spoken language in India and therefore helps one to connect with people from all over the country. Learning a foreign language not only helps expand one’s horizon but also provides a competitive edge in career choices and also builds positive attitudes.
