National Technology Day is celebrated annually on May 11th in India, commemorating the anniversary of the successful nuclear tests conducted in Pokhran in 1998. This day is a significant milestone in India’s technological and scientific achievements.Institution’s Innovation Council celebrated National Technology Day by organizing an online quiz competition designed to engage and educate participants about technological advancements.The National Technology Day online quiz competition 2024 was a resounding success, achieving its goals of promoting technological literacy and celebrating India’s achievements in technology. The online quiz competition was a central event in the National Technology Day celebrations. It aimed to test participants’ knowledge across various fields of technology, encouraging learning and enthusiasm for technological advancements.The quiz competition commenced at 10:00 AM on May 11th, 2024 and concluded at11 :00 AM on the same day. Eight multiple-choice questions were added in the quiz and the participants were given 1 hour time to complete the quiz. A total of 37 participants attended the quiz.Arya K P ( I BSC CS) won the first prize and Anamika AjayKumar(I BCom ACCA) won the second prize.By engaging a diverse group of participants and providing a platform for learning and recognition, the competition contributed significantly to the National Technology Day celebrations, fostering a deeper appreciation for the role of technology in shaping the future.
