About AGORA

Agora is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary scholarly journal published twice a year, in June and December. The journal aims to engage with a wide range of subjects, focusing on themes that are significant and relevant. It covers various literary schools, with a preference for studies that explore the aesthetic connections between literature and social life. Agora also encourages theoretical investigations with a scientific approach that addresses issues related to science and the allied subjects. Each year, one issue will be multi-thematic, while the other will center on a general theme of contemporary relevance. The journal’s readership includes academics, researchers, students, colleges, universities, and libraries in Kerala and across India.

Call for Papers

Submission Guidelines

Submissions to the journal must be original, unpublished, and not submitted to any other publication, either in print or online. Please include a statement in your submission email confirming that your manuscript is being submitted solely to Agora and is not under consideration anywhere else.

Agora follows an anonymous peer review process, which may result in a manuscript being rejected or returned for revision after review. Please adhere to the MLA 9^th edition style for all matters of style, including a works cited list at the end of the manuscript. Direct all correspondence to the Editor at [email protected].

Articles: Articles must be submitted as Microsoft Word documents, with the file name starting with the first author’s surname. Only electronic submissions via email to [email protected] will be accepted; hard copies are not required. Each article should be double-spaced, with 1.5-inch margins on all sides, and should be between 3,000 and 4,000 words in length.

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should be 300 words in length. After the abstract, include 4 to 5 keywords listed in alphabetical order.
