The 8th International Yoga Day Celebration was organized by the Department of Physical Education. The Executive Director of the College, Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Principal Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken, Vice Principal Dr. M. J Rani and Head of Physical Education Department Dr. Paul Chacko spoke on the need for yoga training in today’s life. International yoga stars Hiba Mariam and Madhav Murali from Sahrdaya Sports Academy performed artistic yoga. Hiba Mariam was the winner of the Chief Minister’s “Ujwala Balyapuraskar”. Madhav Murali was the fifth place winner in the National Artistic Yoga Competition 2020-21. All students, teaching and non-teaching staff members of the college practiced yoga under the guidance of Sujesh S (II B.Com C A).
