Department of Physics conducted a seminar on the topic “UNIQUE PROPERTIES OF COMMON ELEMENTS” on 23/03/2022 at seminar hall at 9.30 am onwards. Dr. Shaju K Albert,Former Director,Metallurgy and materials group, IGCAR Kalpakkam was the resource person.
The programme started with a prayer by Anjana A (2nd BSc Physics). Prof K P Chandrasekharan, HOD, Department of Physics welcomed the gathering. Rev Dr Devis Chenginiyadan, Executive director, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies delivered the presidential address. Official inauguration was done by Dr Shaju K Albert. Felicitation was done by Dr Mathew Paul Ukken ,Principal of SCAS. Jyothika Mohan (3rd BSc Physics) introduced the resource person.
Chief Guest made a wonderful talk about the properties of common elements. The talk was really informative to both students and faculties. Winny Raphy (3rd BSc Physics) expressed the gratitude towards the resource person.
The programme came to an end with a vote of thanks by Ms Esmi Davis, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics.
