Five day Rural Camp was organized for the First semester MSW Students at Randukai- Thennittampara Tribal Colony on 28th April to May 2nd 2022 as part of their Field work Practicum. The camp was inaugurated on 28th April 2022 by Kodasserry Panchayat President Sri. Dennis Varghese at Randukai Tribal Community Hall. The students organized Children’s Camp, Socio-economic survey, Participatory Rural Appraisal and various external lectures were conducted during the camp.
The valedictory function of the rural camp was held on 1st May, 2022. The valedictory function on 1st May, 2022 was presided over by Rev.Fr.Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Executive Director, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara. Finance officer, Fr. Anto Vattoly, Ward Member, Riju Maveli, Tribal community leader and promoter and faculties of Department of Social Work were present during the Function. Camp magazine was released and prizes were distributed to the children. Study materials were distributed to the children of the Tribal community. Children of the community has performed various cultural programmes.
