Knowing and understanding the need of helping socially backward people, the NSS Unit of  Sahrdaya College of  Advanced Studies Kodakara stood as a role model to the society. For the betterment of people and keeping the main motto of helping, our students provided them with the help they need and also worked with them to accomplish their bare minimum need for a better living condition.

 

On 17th December 2021, Friday, the NSS volunteers reached the tribal colony “Sasthampoovam” with meals for the nearby houses and educational supplies for   the kids. The programme was commenced with prayer by NSS choir. It was followed by welcome speech of Ms. Mariya Anto, Assistant NSS Programme Officer and presidential address of NSS Programme Officer, Mr. Akhil Anto. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Harish M.C, social worker from the child care unit. Felicitation was done by Ms. Swapna A.S, volunteer of the outreach department of women and child development. The vote of thanks was given by Ms. Anjana K.S, NSS volunteer.

They all left with well wishes, bunch of heartfelt smiles, and a look of assurance for being them with every need which all together brought a euphoric feelings in the hearts of everyone present there.
