On 8th of March 2022, the NSS unit of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara along with St. James Nursing College, Chalakudy and St. James College of Pharmaceutical Science, Chalakudy together celebrated Women’s Day.
The program was held in different places from Chalakudy town to St. James College campus. Different activities were conducted for the students in the remembrance of Women’s Day. The program started with some campaigning which is followed by rally from flyover of Chalakudy town. This rally was accompanied by all the three colleges’ along with their respective mentors.
At the town the colleges performed their well-prepared programs from flash mob to street dance even from the limited time given to them, they still managed to show off their best performance ever and made the cultural part of program a huge success.
The remaining part of the program was held in St. James campus with the quiz at the first half with 9 teams, with Sahrdaya College winning with 3rd price and along with the debate in second half, regarding on the 2 topics the first one being “Toys should be gender neutralized” and the second being about “Arranged marriage and Love marriage” in which 4 teams participated equally.
It was concluded with concluding statements by the program co-ordinator Mr. Akhil Anto and with to that women’s day celebration came to end by biddibf off goodbyes to everyone..
