Department of Management Studies, inaugurated its students association SMART (Sahrdaya Management Association for Refining Talents) on Wednesday, 28th September 2022 at 11.30am in Seminar hall. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Lokesh Matta, Regional Training Business Development Manager – South Asia, Commercial Products & Services- Asia Pacific, in the gracious presence of Executive Director Rev. Fr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Principal Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken, Vice Principals- Dr. Rani M.J, Dr. Joy K.L, head of the department Mr. Savio Fernandez and news office bearers of the association. The programme commenced with prayer and welcome speech was delivered by the Head of the department. Presidential address was delivered by Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan and the new office bearers of the association took oath led by Principal Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken. Secretary of the department is Mr. Anurisheth P Suresh (V sem BBA), Joint Secretary – Ms.Akshika Gangadhara (III sem BBA) and Treasurer Mr. Christo Lona (I sem BBA). Chief guest Mr. Lokesh Matta announced SCAS as the IATA –authorised training center by handing over the certificate to Vice-Principal Dr. Joy K.L. The programme was concluded by 12.pm with vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Anurisheth P Suresh (III BBA).
Post inaugural session was followed by a talk delivered by chief guest of the day, Mr. Lokesh Matta from 12.00pm to 12.45 pm on the topic, “A global perspective on aviation industry”. After students interaction the programme was wound up by vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Akshika Gangadharan – 3rd semester BBA.
