The second semester MSW students Rosemol Mathew, Silpa M S, Reshma AR, and Vismaya T V, from Social Work Department of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies conducted an Awareness class on Social media influence among youth and adolescents on 4th September 2022 for the adolescents and youths in Nadathara Panchayath. 20 members were participated in the programme. The programme was started with an official welcome address by MSW student Reshma. Mr. Radhakrishnan, Retired Health Inspector was the resource person for the programme, he delivered a detailed talk on the impact of social media influence among youth. He also stressed the increased trend of using Mobile phones during COVID pandemic period and smarter way of using social medias and print medias for a positive growth in self and society. The programme was end with an official vote of thanks by MSW student Vismaya.
