SEMINAR IN CONNECTION WITH WORLD WATER DAY-CLIMA 2K23
The department of chemistry organised an interdisciplinary seminar in connection with world water day.The programme started at 9.15am on 22/03/2023. 142 students participated in this programme.The welcome address was done by Dr.Joy K L(Vice principal & HOD Chemistry) .The presidential address was done by the Executive Director Rev.Fr.Dr.Devis Chenginiyadan. The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. It was done by Dr S Sreekumar (Disaster Management Expert,KILA,Former Director IRTC Palakkad,Visiting Professor,Uty of Kerala).Dr.Mathew Paul Ukken (Principal)gave the message and wishes for the seminar.Two of our students were given prizes for the their achievements in IIT-JAM 2023 exam.They are Adarsh P S and K SanjanaManojKumar.The felicitation was done by Prof.Chandrasekharan K P (HOD ,Physics) . The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Albin Sunny (Chemistry Association Secretary,SCAS). Mr.Amrithes P ( IInd year Chemistry student) introduced the resource person and invited for the lecture session on “Need for Local Action Plan on Climate Change”. The programme ended at 11.00am.
