The bridge course for the first year PG students, 2023-24 was started on 1st August 2023. The entire bridge course was planned and executed by the Human Excellence Department in the seminar hall.
The PG student registration started at 8:45 am. The programme started with an invocation. Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken, Principal, SCAS extended a warm welcome to the gathering. The inauguration of DEEKSHARAMBH PG – 2023-24 was performed by Rev. Dr. Davis Chenginiyadan, Executive Director, SCAS, by lightning the lamp. Followed by academic overview by the Principal. Dr. Rani MJ, Vice principal, SCAS, administered the non-academic overview and code of conduct. Dr. Joy KL, Vice principal, SCAS, introduced the World of Sahrdaya, especially on college etiquettes. College Finance officer, Rev.Fr. Anto Vattoly, informed the gathering regarding the financial arena, including travel and amenities.
The Deans of each department, Dr. Joy KL, Prof Thomas VJ, and Prof Dr. Sanil Raj, introduced Science, Commerce, and Language departments respectively. ‘Skeducation’, Introduction of the Department of Human Excellence was done by the HOD, Mr. Satish Nair. Technical enhancement of the college was headed by Asst. prof. Ms. Jaymol James, ( department of Computer Science).
In the afternoon, there was a session on IQAC by Dr. Karuna K, the IQAC coordinator. Mr. Satish Nair proposed Vote of thanks and by 3.10 pm students were handed over to the respective departments for introduction of the department, HOD and for necessary instructions. The programme came to an end at 4.00 pm
