ONE DAY SEMINAR ON STUDYING THE PAST: RECORDS OF CLIMATE CHANGE, NATURAL DISASTERS AND HUMAN MIGRATION

Department of Geology in association with IQAC conducted a seminar on Studying the Past: Records of Climate Change, Natural Disasters and Human Migration on 08/08/2023. The program was started at 9:30 am with silent a prayer. Welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Kuleen Elizabeth Casey (HOD). The principal of our Institution gave the presidential address and Principal’s message. The chief guest of our seminar was Dr. LINTO ALAPPAT, Assistant Professor, Dean of Research Development & TLC, Christ College (Autonomous), Irinjalakuda. He inaugurated the function by lamp lighting. The felicitation was given by Dr. Rani M J vice principal. The resource person gave an awareness about the past climate, natural disasters especially floods in Kerala and human migration. He shared some of his experiences and case studies also. Mr. Pavan P. V of 1^st B.Sc. Geology conveyed the vote of Thanks.
