Chathuryam – Vocational Skill Training Programme
Department of Social Work initiated community empowernment project Chathuryam for Puliparakunnnu Community (Ward 16), the Department of Social Work in association with student association SWASTH initiated a Vocational Skill training workshop for persons with Disability on August 25 2023 at Community Hall, Puliparakunnu Kodakara. The Workshop was inaugurated by Sri. Ambali Soman, Kodakara Grama Panchayat Preseident. The programme was presided by Fr. Anto Vattoly, Finance Officer, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara.
Training on Candle making was given to persons with disability and their family members. 15 members participated in the programme. Bindu, Anganwadi teacher, Ms. Radhika, Craft Teacher, faculties and students of MSW programme were present for the programme.
