ORPHANAGE VISIT – 1st YEAR BSc IT
On October 16, 2023, the first-year BSc IT students embarked on a profoundly enriching visit to Abhaya Bhavan in Porathissery. The purpose of the visit was to foster empathy, understanding, care and compassion among the students as they interacted with the residents of this noble institution. 26 BSc IT students, accompanied by Class Animator Sujithra and Miss Vineesha, boarded the college bus at 10.00 AM. The journey took approximately 40 minutes, and the students arrived at Abhaya Bhavan around 10:40 AM. The students were warmly welcomed by Rev. Fr. JinojKolencherry,the Director of Abhaya Bhavan and the Sisters. Almost 27 people with physical and mental difficulties are taken care here. All are bedridden.
