Every year on June 29th, the Indian government observes National Statistics Day.This year Department of Mathematics in association with IQAC, Sahrdaya College of advanced studies kodakara, celebrated National statistics day “TILASTOT’24” on 8th July 2024 in the Aula Magna venue with an insightful talk on ‘Statistics in Daily Life’ by Prof.Dr.Thomas Mathew,Principal,Mar Dionysius College, Pazhanji.
The program commenced at 9:30am with a warm welcome by Dr. Sheeba MB, Head of the Department followed by the presidential address of Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, the Executive Director, SCAS and the Principal, SCAS Dr,Joy K L and the Vice principal Dr. Karuna K Nair shared their message.Students cleared their doubts after the talk and function concluded with the vote of thanks by Ms. Lena Wels, fifth semester B.Sc. Mathematics student.
