Community Living Camp
Department of Social Work organised seven day Community living camp for the First Semester MSW students as a part of their fieldwork curriculam at Kallichithra-Nadampadam Tribal Settlement near Chimmony Wildlfe Sanctuary on 18th to 25th September 2024. The camp has been inaugurated by Mr. Pushpan, President, Vana samrashana Samithi, Kallithira Tribal Settlement. The major initiative’s of the camp were awareness on suicide prevention at Varantharppily Grama panchayt, Life skill training for adolescents and children, Socio-economic Survey, Participatory Rural Appraisal. 16 students and 4 faculty members participated in the camp.
