On 30th July 2021, the Department of Psychology in association with IQAC had conducted a webinar on “Impact of Pandemic on Interpersonal Relationship” through Google meet the online virtual platform at 2.00 pm. The webinar was conducted from 2 pm to 3.30 pm The meeting was started with a prayer by Ms.Jinsha of 1st year M. Sc. Clinical Psychology. Welcome speech was delivered by Ms. Avlin Pauly of 2nd year B. Sc. Psychology. Executive Director of SCAS, Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan inaugurated the webinar and had given a briefing on the situations that we are facing these days of pandemics and the relevance of this webinar for the betterment of the relationships. Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken, the Principal had given the presidential address. Ms. Anna Prince of 1st year M. Sc. Psychology introduced the chief guest to the audience. The Vice Principals, IQAC Co-ordinator, and NAAC Co-ordinator had joined the webinar online. The chief guest Mr. S. Satheese, the Director of Relationship Foundation, Thrissur, discussed the values of maintaining relationships and the tips for improvising the relationships between family members even during this pandemic. At the end of the talk, there was a discussion session. Ms. Jisna Joby of 3rd year B. Sc. Psychology expressed the gratitude of the Department of Psychology to the chief guest and all the participants of the webinar. Dr. Varghese Paul K, HOD of the Department of Psychology expressed his special gratitude towards Mr. S. Satheese. 90 participants attended the webinar and E-certificates were provided to all participants who attended the webinar. The whole program was coordinated by Ms. Angela of 1st year M. Sc. Psychology. The entire theme of the program was very much influenced by the participants and the webinar was fruitful.
