Department of Management Studies conducted a webinar on the topic “Financial Planning Perspectives” on 26th June 2020 from 3.00pm to 4.00pm in collaboration with Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments, London (CISI). The session was handled by Mr. Vinay kumar Korath, Assistant General Manager of Muthoot Fincorp Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore.
Objective of the webinar was;
• A well-designed financial plan should help you manage and your income and expenses
• Guide you to make good investments that serve your goals
• Identify and cover the financial risks that you are exposed to.
The session began with a welcome note addressed by Mr. Jasneet Singh Bindra – Country head of CISI and speaker Vijay kumar took over the session. The webinar was successful in achieving all its objectives with real life examples for a better financial planning. The speech was delivered for 45minutes followed by an interaction session by the participants in the webinar. The session was really informative and had high practical relevance in the aspect of managing your expenditure and investments during the pandemic situation prevailing all over the world. Webinar wound by Mr. Vijay kumar rendering a great message on planning your investments as, short term pleasure or Long term benefit. A formal word of gratitude was delivered by Mr. Jasneet Singh Bindra (CISI).
Conduct of Webinar
The invitation for webinar circulated among various social media platforms a week before the session along with registration form. 105 participants’ registered in the event and 69 participants attended the webinar. Webinar was hosted in Zoom platform from CISI London and the meeting link was shared to Department of Management Studies and passed the same to the registered members through their email. After the webinar the participants were issued feedback forms through email where by the participants will get e certificate on submitting the feedback form. In general the feedback mentions that overall conduct and webinar was a grand success and participants assured to participate in future webinars organised by the department.
