The NSS Unit of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara organized
Freedom Run on September 20, 2021 as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
India @ 75. The event commenced with the NSS prayer song by the NSS choir.
Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken (Principal of Sahradaya College of Advanced Studies)
welcomed the gathering. It was followed by the presidential address by Dr.Fr.
Davis Chenginiadan (Executive Director) who congratulated all the NSS
volunteers for organizing the event.
Later on a freedom message was delivered by Mrs. Ambili Soman (Panchayat
President Kodakara). Mr. Jayesh Jayadevan (Inspector of Police) inaugurated
the function with great enthusiasm. Mr. Akhil Anto (NSS Program Officer)
thanked the audience. Mr. Jayesh Jayadevan hoisted the Freedom Run. The
event concluded in the college campus. It was led by Niys. S, student of
Sahrdaya and a Paralympic entrant. Auto drivers, panchayat officials showed
active participation in the event.
