For the benefit of the geology students at Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies in Kodakara, the Department of Geology hosted an Alumni Talk Series. On July 23, 2024, Ms. N.G. Gayathri, a former graduate of the Geology department, gave the inaugural discussion about the field of geoinformatics and its potential for professional advancement. Along with two faculty members and sixteen students, attended the session. The students’ higher education and career search were judged to have benefited from the session. The Association Secretary Rishikesh Menon expressed gratitude for the session.
