Balotsavam – A Joyful Children’s Day Celebration.
“Balotsavam” was organized with great enthusiasm by the NSS Unit of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara, celebrating Children’s Day on 14th November 2024 at Puliparakunnu Government Welfare L.P. School. The event was presided over by the school headmaster, Mr. Sreekumar, while the symbolic role of Chacha Nehru was brought to life by Master Akhnav P. Vidyadharan, who inaugurated the program. Dr. Joy K.L., the Principal of Sahrdaya College, shared an inspiring Children’s Day message, followed by heartfelt wishes from Vice Principal Dr. Karuna K. and PTA President Mrs. Linsi Sanil.
The celebration featured a wide array of fun and engaging activities, including a Smile Contest, Musical Chairs, Paper Hat Making, group singing, and various games that captivated and delighted the young students. As a gesture of love and encouragement, Rev. Fr. Anto Vattoli, the Finance Officer of Sahrdaya College, presented gifts to all the schoolchildren. NSS volunteers added to the joyful atmosphere by distributing sweets, creating a memorable day for everyone involved
