The nature club members have initiated the first step towards setting up of butterfly garden in the campus by planting saplings of Rattle pod plants (Crotalaria assamica) on 3 rd August 2023. This plant serves as host plant for the larvae of several moths and butterflies, this plant also attracts pollinators and play a vital role in reproduction of plants as well as insects. A small area in the college campus was chosen for the setting of butterfly garden. Nature club coordinator Ms. Jeshma. P inaugurated the program by planting a rattle pod sapling, and members joined in the venture afterwards.
