PG Department of Commerce & Sahrdaya Professional Academy in association with B.Com Professional Alumni jointly organized ‘CA Talks’- 4-day talk series in connection with CA Day from 28th June to 1st July 2021. On the first day, 28th of June, CA Vibin Vincent talked about ‘Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and Forensic Auditing’. On the 29th of June, CA Anwar Abbas explained about ‘Exemptions under GST’. On the 30th of June, CA Jackson Abraham Thekekkara discussed opportunities for Chartered Accountants. The final day- the 1st of July was observed as the CA Day. The CA Day function commenced with a welcome speech by the Professional Co-ordinator Dr. Karuna K. Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Executive Director of SCAS, delivered the inaugural address. Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken, the Principal, and Dr. Rani M.J, the Vice-Principal addressed the gathering. The Keynote address was delivered by the renowned Chartered Accountant CA Narayana Kumar M on the topic “Career as a CA professional”. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Anusree P.S, Assistant Professor of SCAS.
