COVID-19 SURVEY

In order to raise awareness regarding the importance of vaccination in confronting the Covid -19 pandemic, a survey was conducted by the Covid Cell of the College on 16^th April,2021 . 5 teachers and 15 students constituted the team for conducting the survey. The survey aimed to evaluate the knowledge, attitude, and practices of the participants towards the Corona virus vaccine and to further encourage them to take the full dose of the vaccine. Data were collected from the people residing in Pulipparakunnu Ward 16 of Kodakara Gram Panchayat. During the survey, it was observed that only a few people in that area took the first dose of the vaccine while others had preconceived false notions about the vaccine and some also shared irrational fear of vaccine side effects. The Covid cell team conducting the survey helped the participants clear their doubts and misconceptions and also provided support in giving correct information regarding online registration for getting the vaccine.
