The Department of Social Work organized 4 days Expert Lecture series on Community Organization as Social Work Method for the Second Semester MSW students in Department of Social Work, SCAS from 22-25/8/2022. The resource person for the programme was Mr. Jijo Kuruvila, Operational Manager, ATMA My Mind My Care who is expert in the field of community organisation and community development. It was a very insightful and practical oriented sessions for the students to realise the possibilities and difficulties in practicing community organisation as a method in Indian Context.
