The second semester MSW student Sneha Sunil, from Social Work Department of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies conducted an Awareness class on Substance abuse among youth and adolescents on 9th September 2022 for the adolescents and youths in Kundoor, Mala. 15 members were participated in the programme. The programme was started with an official welcome address by MSW student coordinator Sneha Sunil. Ms. Krishna Sumesh, GLPS school teacher, was the resource person for the programme, she delivered a detailed talk on the risks associated with the substance abuse and preventive measures. She is also the role of Parents and teacher in preventing drug abuse among youths and adolescents and their support for them in difficult situations. The programme was end with an official vote of thanks by one of the participant Reshma.
