DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER APPLICATION
The main objective of DCA is to equip students with a fundamental knowledge of computers by evolving subjects like aspects of the internet, Microsoft tools, operating systems, and other relevant topics.
The add on class for second years(DCA) started on July 19 ,2016 by Rambus academy. The Certificates were issued by them. There were 25 students and total hours taken 49 .The Classes were engaged by Ms. Soumya Sunil and Mr. Ajith Ashok
Modules and topics covered;
Module 1: Fundamentals of computer and windows, Project management, principles of programming, UNIX operating system, Programming languages database.
Module 2:Management information systems. Work Processing and Spread sheet. Financial Accounting System, System Analysis and design.
The addon classes for second year (Diploma in Computer Application) by RAMBUS Academy started on July 6, 2017 The certificate for DCA is issued by RAMBUS .There were 38 students in second year. The total hours taken for second years is 68 .Classes were engaged by Ms. Jessy Prince, Ms. Ajitha Ashok and Mr. Manjith P. D.Placement oriented workshops were also conducted in a timely manner. Exams were
conducted for them and certificates were issued.

There were 45 students in second year.Classes for second years started last year with the basics of computer. These classes were engaged by Ms. Swathykrishna K. S. and Ms. Devi of Computer Science Department of SCAS. Exams were conducted for them and certificates were issued.

These classes were engaged by Ms. Swathykrishna K. S. Mr Aswin and Ms. Devi of Computer Science Department of SCAS. Exams were conducted for them and certificates were issued.

All classes were engaged by online mode ,in adherence to covid protocol. These classes were engaged by Ms. Aparna T B of Computer Science Department of SCAS. Exams were conducted for them.
