ENERGY CONSERVATION
The department of Physics provided an add on course ” Energy Conservation ” for the BSc. Physics students. Conservation is the process of reducing demand on a limited supply and enabling that supply to begin to rebuild itself. Many times the best way of doing this is to replace the energy used with an alternate source.Energy conservation plays a very important role because utilization of non-renewable resources also impacts our environment.

- Manufacturing and the promotion of Renewable Energy
- All issues related to energy, national energy, regional, and global importance
- Energy conservation
- Energy Management
Ms.R.Gayathri Nair and Mr. Azeem of Society of energy engineers and managers (SEEM) Thiruvananthapuram, provided the add on course in “Energy conservation and management ” for the first year students of 2017-2020 batch and for the second year students of 2016-2019 Batch.This is an add on course of one year duration.There were 46 students in first year class and 38 students in second year class. At the end of the year ,exam was conducted for each batch and all students appeared for the exam.Certificates were issued to all the students.
