As a part of the MoU signed between the Geology departments of Christ College Autonomous & Sahrdaya College of Advanced studies, departments organised a FACULTY ACADEMIC EXCHANGE PROGRAM IN GEOLOGY on 28th December 2021 through the zoom platform for the Geology students of both colleges. Faculty Academic Exchange Program envisioned to carry out academic mutual exchanges as part of an active Memorandum of Understanding between Christ College and Sahrdaya College. Dr. Linto Alappat (Head,Department of Geology & Environmental Science, Christ College) welcomed the gathering and Fr. Dr. Jolly Andrews CMI (Principal, Christ College) gave the presidential address. Dr. MathewPaul Ukken (Principal, Sahrdaya College of Advanced studies) felicitated the gathering. Ms. Anu J Ponnar (Former Sr. Geologist, GSI & Assistant Professor, Department of Geology & Environmental Science, Christ College Autonomous, Irinjalakuda) delivered the talk on the topic “Searching for Diamonds: Exploration Methods & Strategies”. Prof. Davis K J (Head, Dept. of Geology, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies) concluded the session with vote of thanks.
