FRENCH DAY CELEBRATION 2024

The part of the French national day celebration, Western Eastern Language Department, was conducted by the French assembly on 8 August 2024, Thursday, by the 3rd semester French students led by French class animator Mrs. Anna Jacquiline. Anchoring was done by Arya K. P. (BSC CS). The prayer song was done by Merrin Babu (BBA), Nandhana V. B. (BSC CS), Soyal Soy (BBA), and Nandana Sreekant Nair (BSc Psychology), followed by the Bible reading and translation done by Ann Mariya Nelson (BSc Maths). Thought for the day and word of the day were done by Nigel Joy (ACCA) and Rohan. R (BA English). Amazing facts were read by Austin Binoy (B.Com.). The main event of the day was magazine releases. FLANEUR The French manuscript magazine of the French students was released by our Executive Director, Rev. Dr. Fr. Devis Chenginiyadan, and T S Saneesh Kumar Joseph (MLA) on 8th August 2024. The magazine is a vivid collection of articles related to French history, fashion, cuisine, symbols, regions, monuments, geography, famous individuals, and poems written by French students. The 4th semester students initiated the creation of the magazine on 8 February 2024 and wrapped it up on 27 March 2024. The releasing ceremony was going on between the French assembly to commemorate the French national day. The inclusion of inspirational, thought-provoking quotes and facts had a positive impact on the overall mood of everyone present. The morning assembly undoubtedly contributed to setting a vibrant and positive tone for the rest of that day.
